The system encrypts the images and sends them electronically to the bank for processing. The REACH program is internet-based, so there is no software to install on your computer, only the drivers that operate the scanner.
When will deposits be credited to my account?
Deposits scanned through REACH are captured on Mission Bank business days at noon, 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time and are usually memo posted and available in your account within 30 minutes after capture. Even if the bank is closed, you can still make your deposits.
Is it secure?
Absolutely. Each user logs in with an ID and password, and employees can make deposits without having access to the company's online banking information. REACH interfaces to a secure (128-bit SSL encryption) website and checks can be deposited immediately upon receipt, so there are no worries about losing or misplacing checks.
Do I have to buy a scanner?
No, Mission Bank offers options that provide you with a scanner. We install the scanner drivers for you, provide your staff with training on making deposits, and supply replacement scanners, should you need one. You can also use your compatible device(s) with our mobile app to make deposits through REACH.
